Written proposal

Every custom build starts with an itemized proposal covering the agreed parts, known condition, scope, price and expected timing. No inquiry is a purchase or reservation.

Deposit

We take a 40% deposit before buying parts for a custom build. We don’t start until you’ve approved the itemized proposal in writing and the deposit has arrived. Sending an inquiry doesn’t commit you to anything.

Collection window

Builds are held for 14 days after we tell you yours is finished. After that we may charge storage, or resell the system and refund your deposit less parts loss, labour and any costs we’ve taken on.

Parts list

Every part we’ve verified is listed in the specifications on that build’s page. If something you need isn’t there, email us and ask.

Changes and delays

AYSE will ask for written approval before a material substitution, price change or scope change. Parts availability and third-party shipping can affect timing, so estimates are not guarantees.

Handoff and warranty

Ready-built systems and used components in custom builds receive a 14-day AYSE warranty covering system function and our workmanship from pickup.

If something breaks

Contact us within 14 days of pickup and we’ll diagnose it. If the fault is our assembly or a component we supplied, we repair or replace it. Damage from drops, spills, power events or changes made after handoff isn’t covered.

Manufacturer warranty on new parts

Manufacturer warranty on new parts is between you and the manufacturer. Ask us about a specific part and we’ll tell you what we know about it.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here removes your rights under Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act.

Data and customer parts

Back up important data before service. Do not provide passwords unless a separately agreed task truly requires one. AYSE may decline unsafe, damaged, incomplete or incompatible customer-supplied parts.
